Cookie policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This page explains which cookies and similar tools the Casa Midea website uses, what they are for and how you can manage your choices. The data controller is Mariacristina Falciano; for full information on how personal data is processed, see our privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device while you browse. Similar tools, such as your browser's local storage (localStorage), work in a similar way. They can be technical, meaning they are needed for the site to work, or they can be used to analyse browsing or show advertising; the latter require your consent.
2. In short
- This site does not set its own cookies.
- It does not use analytics, profiling or advertising tools.
- It only saves, in your browser, the choice you make in the cookie banner.
- The typeface is hosted on the site itself: no connection to Google Fonts.
- The only third-party content that may set cookies is the Google Maps map, which is only loaded if you give your consent.
3. Technical tools (always active)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
casamidea-consent |
localStorage (technical, first-party) | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner so it is not shown again on every visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. | Until you delete it or change your choice |
Technical tools do not require consent.
4. Third-party content
Google Maps (only with your consent)
In the "Getting here" section you can view a map of the property, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. The map is not loaded until you accept it, using the "Accept all" button in the banner or the "Show map" button. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies and collect browsing data, under its privacy policy and cookie information.
External links
Links to Booking.com, Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Maps ("Get directions") lead to external sites. Our site does not embed their content: these services can only use cookies once you open them, under their own policies.
5. How to manage your choices
On your first visit a banner asks whether you want to load third-party content too ("Accept all") or only the necessary tools ("Necessary only"). You can change your mind at any time: . The "Cookie preferences" link is also at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the map is removed.
You can also delete saved data or block cookies in your browser settings:
